Not too long ago, I’ve been through a book, “The Lucifer Effect” by Philip Zimbardo. Nothing to do with God or Lucifer, it’s about Understanding How Good People Turn Evil.
It started with a psychology experiment involving a prison setting. I highly recommend the book if you struggle with what is right and wrong each day.
Zimbardo analyzes why people turn evil and he analyzes how do good people do good. He terms them as heroes. Check out the new project promoting heroism. Do sign up to explore what you can be. =)

I had a run just now. 12km around Tampines. I started to realize that people do live really near to one another but they don’t see each other in years. I happened to go by the homes of people I knew. Priscilla, Elaine, Renjie, Samantha, Josie, Shi Ting, Ivan, Valerie, Vanessa, Weimin, Laikoon, April, Anna , Michelles. Well, that goes to show how disconnected this world may be. We grow older and the friends from the last institution or organizations that we partake of are simply left the way it is.

HAHA! I studied zimbardo’s experiment for my module. we watched the actual tape recording of the experiment. it’s interesting yet really creepy. even zimbardo got so deep into the role x.x There was a repeat of the experiment conducted by the BBC in 2002. Same thing happened.

yeah, it reflects alot on the behaviours of people in situations. Are people who they really are? esp when there are many factors and issues we have to face in society today.
I studied this to map it onto the military. lol. similarities.

well on a lighter note… I am watching the Drew Carrey Project. It’s not about any psychology experiment but on another perspective on the issues in life. Pretty interesting…
