I think the past few weeks have been a real torture (mentally, not that I was in immense pain). I struggle with with the things of a higher order than what I deserved. What IF some things that everyone takes for granted is wrong and not real?

I thrive by reason and logic (sadly). Therefore, it is hard to accept things that could not be defined. In the same way, I struggle with the need to understand a majority of things. I can’t do just because people say so. In sense, I exposed myself to literature of the Antireligion. Particularly, I read atheist author Christopher Hitchens. It HAS shaken me a bit. He’s not totally right – he references events that are isolated and obscure. However, that fully describes how far faith can bring (in the negative, though not in majority). He discounts the credibility of Jesus, the Word of God and the framework of the church (Catholic in particular), by the lack of consistency in the supposed “unaltered” & “unalterable” word.

The pending recurrence of the occulted 12th Imam from 837 A.D. breaks all sense. Especially when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had to bring his reports of Iranian nuclearization to the Imam in a cave. Why do masses act against rationale? Why do you HAVE to bring reports of nuclearization to someone who could sit in a cave and understand global nuclearization? Doesn’t anyone stop the person beside him from being irrational?

Belief can be described in the following ways. The Infallibility of any faith-based organization is very hard to establish. The faithful will believe in the infallibility simply by faith. A person has faith when he believes in the minute probability of an unlikely occurrence. When the minute probability happens, it is assumed that God has acted. As for instances when the major probability of unlikely occurrence takes place, it can be assumed that the faithful “does not have enough faith”.

“Astronomy begins where Astrology ends, Chemistry begins where Alchemy ends & Science begins where Religion ends.”

I have to agree that some things will lose relevance if they do not reinvent themselves. Just do a search on “Papal Payouts“.

I am NOT an advocate of Antireligion. I am merely providing my understanding of findings.
