Dubai has a new rage in architecture, particularly Dynamic Architecture by David Fisher. The idea is to have each level rotating along the center column of a skyscraper. At different intervals and speeds, the building will appear to be shapeshifting. you will have a different view from your unit at different times of the day. The building is supposed to generate it’s own electricity, which i have yet to understand how it could. that’s another uber cool thing on earth – the uber rich dudes in Dubai who have great ideas when the people of the Sahel kill one another for food.
